What Is Sculptra?
Sculptra is a safe, FDA approved, and non-allergenic synthetic injectable that offers results that last for up to two years! What separates What makes Sculptra unique is the product’s ability to build facial volume gradually, giving you a natural look.

Patients receive a series of Sculptra injections over several weeks or months. The injections are injected in different directions to sprinkle the Sculptra throughout the skin. Long-Lasting Changes with Collagen Development
Collagen gives your skin its firmness and smoothness. As we age, collagen production rapidly decreases. About 1.5% every year after mid-20’s and after the age of 35, you lose 30% of your collagen every decade.
You can use topical products to increase your skin’s production of collagen. However, collagen is produced in the dermal layer, which is quite deep in the skin. Topical products do not penetrate the deep enough to produce a significant effect in collagen production.

Your Scupltra Appointment
After discussing you desires and answering all your questions, we clean and mark your skin. Using lidocaine as a local anesthetic to ensure the patient’s comfort we will inject with either a needle or cannula depending on the area. Most patients state that it doesn't hurt, but you can feel pressure as a cannula moves though your glutes or face.
After Treatment
With no down time, you will be right back to your regular schedule. The first few days after treatment massage the injection site for five minutes, five different times a day. Self-massages will further ensure that the Sculptra is fully distributed. Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for 2 weeks after their injection.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
Each patient is different depending on the specific area we are treating. Some patients will need 3-6 treatments over period of weeks. Every patients treatment plan is personalized for thier desired results.
Is Sculptra Safe?
FDA approved Scupltra in 2009 to treat HIV patients with severe facial wasting. It has been widely and safely used ever since.
