MOXI is an acronym for “Multiply Oxygenated excited state Ionisation”. This new form of laser treatment uses a wavelength of 1319nm to precisely target water molecules in the skin. MOXI is one of our most gentle and well-tolerated laser treatments. Depending on the treatment level, most patients find the sessions relatively comfortable. To ensure maximum comfort, we use cooling air and numbing cream during the procedure.
Results vary for each individual, but MOXI results generally begin to appear within 3 to 5 days post-treatment. Initially, your skin may appear red, and you might notice small micro-dots called MENDS where the laser was applied. As these microzones heal, they will darken and feel rough before revealing refreshed skin underneath. Remember, don’t exfoliate or pick at your skin during this healing time.
